Is Maris otter wheat grain??

I'm making my cream ale and my brew store don't have Belgium biscuit was out of stock so he substituted it for Maris otter.. So is it a wheat grain??/:

No, it's a British 2-row barley.

I've never used Belgian biscuit, so can't compare, but I've brewed a lot of beers with Maris. It gives a good biscuity flavor.

Alright good to hear yeah I was just worried because it smelled like wheat lol.. Sorry it's only my second brew..

Well that wheat smell went away a soon as I added the hops smells amazing.. Has a beautiful hint of lemon
