Hello everybody. Been a while. Been busy. Me last batch I brewed was beyond wretched. Became garden water last Friday. But brewing as I type. Me question is aboit Irish moss. As to when and how much for a 1 gallon of Red ale. With at least a gallon boiling off?

Usually you add it at about the last 15-20 minutes of boil. 5 grams (1 teaspoon) is usual for a 5 gallon batch. So just weigh out one gram I suppose. Although I truly don't think it would hurt if you added all 5 grams.....
