It's based off one of the clones that was in this issue of BYO. The only changes is the addition of 2 row, Waimea hops to Pacific Jade, and instead of 1056 I picked up a pack of Wyeast Private Collection West Coast IPA.

I don't know why it would be bad since I only changed it a little, but just thought I'd get some input if there was any out there.

West Coast Wai-Iti IPA
Brew Method: Partial Mash
Boil Time: 60 min
Batch Size: 5.5 gallons (fermentor volume)
Boil Size: 6 gallons
Boil Gravity: 1.066
Efficiency: 70% (brew house)

STATS:
Original Gravity: 1.072
Final Gravity: 1.018
ABV (standard): 7.12%
IBU (tinseth): 87.28
SRM (morey): 7.56

FERMENTABLES:
8 lb - Liquid Malt Extract - Light (68.4%)
12 oz - Corn Sugar - Dextrose (6.4%)
8 oz - German - CaraMunich I (4.3%)
7 oz - Dry Malt Extract - Light (3.7%)
2 lb - United Kingdom - Pale 2-Row (17.1%)

HOPS:
2 oz - Pacific Jade, Type: Pellet, AA: 13, Use: Boil for 60 min, IBU: 77.58
28 g - Wai-Iti, Type: Pellet, AA: 3.4, Use: Boil for 20 min, IBU: 6.07
28 g - Wai-Iti, Type: Pellet, AA: 3.4, Use: Boil for 10 min, IBU: 3.63
28 g - Wai-Iti, Type: Pellet, AA: 3.4, Use: Boil for 0 min
60 g - Wai-Iti, Type: Pellet, AA: 3.4, Use: Dry Hop for 8 days
