I am looking for a IPA recipe around 45-50 IBU I love DFH 60, but it is a little too much for my friends. I have a good dfh 60 recipe, can i just cut down on the boil hops or dry hops? The dfh60 recipe was the first I ever did and it came out very good, but i dont know enough yet to adjust it without knowing if im gonna jack it up or not. Thanks for any help.

You could reduce the bitterness by reducing the amount of boil hops. Or, you could just do a different recipe. Check out the recipe section (in the brown header next to the Homebrewtalk.com logo at the top of this page) and select a style you are interested in.
