Hey all. I'm beginning to develop a new IPA recipe. While I really like the fruity, juice bomb kind of stuff, I want to give a go at a something with some of that classic hop bite. Never used Chinook or Warrior before. What do you think?
Still doing the extract thing for now.
60 minute boil, 2.5 gallon boil, 5 gallons in the fermenter.
Target OG 1.053
Target FG 1.010
Target ABV 5.61%
Target IBU 69
Fermentables
6 lb. Light LME
1 lb. Light DME (late addition)
Steeping Grains
1 lb. Crystal 30
Hops
1 oz Warrior (60 min)
1 oz Chinook (15 min)
1 oz Chinook (5 min)
.5 oz Cascade (5 min)
.5 oz Cascade (Dry Hop)
Yeast
US-5
