Hello All!

I made a 10g cream ale a few months ago and things got busy and they sat in the primary until yesterday.... the airlocks were dry and low and behold when I cracked the lid this is what I saw...

Is this Lacto/Infection or could this be the Notty Yeast that never settled out? The funny thing was I split the 10G into two batches and the other batch using the US-05 looked fine.

Any thoughts/advice greatly appreciated!

Sanitize the bejesus out of it and call it a day. Go with bleach if you are troubled about it.

Infected beer typically tastes and/or smells really sour or funky. If it tastes and smells OK, this is likely NOT an infection!

Rack underneath it and get this one carbed and at fridge temps as soon as you can to reduce the chances of it getting worse.

Could just be interesting yeast rafts, though.
