Sorry about your damage boss. Didn't catch the original thread. I see roof damage being a big problem in upstate New York in the next few weeks when all of that snow compacts and starts to get even heavier.
Got a big snowstorm in WA state a few years ago, and the fire dept sprayed water on a couple of boatsheds which weighed them down even more and caused them to collapse busting up quite a few boats.
In Alaska, the majority of the homes have sheet metal roofs and steep pitches, so the snow builds up to a point, then slides off in a "pretty cool" avalanche.
Not that my rambling had anything to do with your story, but I drank a Blue Moon on an empty stomach, and I'm kind of in that light buzz phase. Glad you got it taken care of.
