It took me 12 batches, but I've finally had my first UABE (Urgent Attention Brewing Event) as my IIPA suddenly became a very active fermenter about 15 hours in. I had a foam-filled airlock, a beer covered lid and a fermenter top that looked ready to burst.

Thank you to the forum for coming through with a solution. One Four Peaks growler, some sanitizer solution and my bottling hose later, it appears to be under control.
