So!!
Had to leave my american amber warm with no Co2 in the keg, for 3 months.
Took off the airlock and put the diptube and post back on.
Somehow.......got the gas and liquid switched.
Hit it with gas to transfer to another keg, heard bubble bubble bubble....
switched it around, and on a whim, popped the top.
The bubbling co2 had ROYALLY churned up what must have been a beautiful mold pellicle. White chunks now churned all up in the beer.
Let it settle, transferred, carbed, poured out first 2 pints, Awesome beer.
LESSON:
there is nothing in beer that can hurt you except alcohol.
Relaxify. Don't Dump.
