So i have 4 oz of makers mark soaking 4 split vanilla beans and 1.5 oz of oak chips to drop into my braggot. Should i just dump all in, wait a week, then taste? Or strain off bourbon, put in chips and beans and then decide at bottling if more bourbon should be added?

Braggot Sg was 1.90 and is now at 1.060.

I also have 3.5 oz of cranberry extract i added during primary.

If you want a vanilla beer, I'd say you don't need the whiskey in there.
If you want a barrel taste, then drop in the Makers...
you can always taste it later..
Depends on what you're going for but it looks like this one will be quite complex.!

It is aging quite well in the keg as we speak. Tapped into it yesterday and can pick up all the flavors i was looking for. Still needs some time to mellow out as it is still a little booze flavored. I decided not to put the bourbon straight in. I just soaked the vanilla beans and oak chips in the bourbon for a week prior.

Left me a very nice infused bourbon to use as a flavor additive to my manhattans as well.
