15,673 + 5 = 15,678

5 gallons more of Ed's Apfelwine, no changes to Ed's recipe.

PS: Had some time so I created a quick label to go with my bottles.

Well, I've made three batches over the past 6 months so I guess I'll chime in as well.

15,700 + 3*5 = 15,715 gallons

nearly 628 hl ! thats a pretty crazy number for the accumulated gallons just from the people on this website. possibly equivalent to a small brewery! imagine if anyone else besides the people from HBT know about this recipe. Im brewing edworts haus pale ale this weekend, i cant wait to try the apfelwein!

Started my first batch yesterday. Bubbling away nicely this morning.

15,779.5 + 5.5 = 15,785

A while ago I would have told you I would never make this again as I did NOT like it....chilled a couple of bottles a few days agoi and popped em open last night for company at the game....they went nuts over it. I don't know why but it has a sour apple finish that is REALLY good. I primed mine and bottled in beer bottles.

I only made 1 gallon. I didn't like an empty glass jug just laying around.
Brewninja1 had 15,791. Plus my one for 15,792. 1 gal. not 1 batch.

Plan on getting two 6 Gallon Carboys just to make Edwort's Apfelwein. I'm hoping to eventually have 6, Then I can have a good rotation going.

15823 + 5 = 15823

I substituted on gallon of apple juice with 3/4 gallon cranberry juice and 1/4 gallon pomegranate juice.

I'm taking everybody's word that I should start a second batch well before the first one is done so I started a new batch. I hope its great.

15823 + 5 = 15828
