How Many Beers Can a 16 gram CO2 Cartridge Push?

Just curious as to how many pints a charge can push. Any ideas? Experience?

I went through 2 1/2 of them on a 5 gal corny on New Years. It was my first time using it, so I have nothing to compare it to. Also, the first cartridge had been loaded for some time so I don't really know how much co2 was in that one.

just be careful with it. it's easy to squeeze the trigger and blast all the gas into the keg. then to get a decent pour you'll have to vent.

I used mine over xmas. I got by with 2 cartridges. I used them sparingly and we drank it all in one night. I could see needing more if you let it sit for longer. Just little "pops" from the charger every now and again is all you need. Worked like a charm.

Ditto on this. Make sure the beer is already fully carbed. You're just going to use the cartridge to push it out.
