I want to homebrew a SMaSH using Sorachi Ace hops and a light malt for a light summertime ale or pilsner, but I don't know where to begin. Where can I find some information on brewing this?

This group might be a good place to start.

pick a base malt. i.e 2-row, pale ale, maris otter, vienna, munich, etc.
pick a hop
decide how strong you want it and how bitter and brew.

I would base it on an apa or ipa and drop all the specialty malts, replace with the base.

I tend to use 10 lbs base malt and work my BU:GU to close to 1:1

Then hop 60, 10, 0, dry and often a small first wort addition, sometimes in place of the 60.

This ^^^^^.

Pretty simple. Use an online brew recipe calc like - http://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/calculator/ to get an idea of your expected OG (based on your efficiency) and IBUs.
