I am attempting to make a Hopped American Wit based off of a Blue moon style recipe.

I have never made a recipe before and currently my only computer is a work laptop so I can't download software on it.

Can someone please run this through beersmith for me? Also, please provide feedback if you think something is off and/or could be approved

6.00 lb 2 Row Pale Malt US
4.00 lb White Wheat Malt
1.00 lb Flaked Oats
1 oz Hallertau Mittelfruh (60 min)*
0.375 oz grnd corriander (10 min)
1 oz Valencia orange peel (5 min)
1 oz Citra Hops (0 min)
1 oz Citra Hops (Dry Hop)

Mash at around 154 degrees for 60 minutes. Increase temp to 168F to 10 min. Sparge @168F

Thanks!!

I use this online free tool and its amazing

Plugging in your numbers with typical yeast attenuation (you can choose the yeast on the tool though) and brewhouse efficiency...

OG/FG: 1.063 / 1.016 , 6.1%abv
14.6 IBU

I think the recipe looks solid. Depending on your yeast selection, you may want to add like 8oz of something interesting like aromatic malt or golden naked oats. If you use a Belgian wit yeast though, it will provide intersting esters on its own

Thanks m00ps!! I will check out the recipe. I added 1/2# C40 for some color and reduced the flame out and dry hops to 1/2oz each. I want the orange to be the main flavor, but just a small kick of hop flavor/aroma to balance.
