I am wondering if anyone out there uses a filter bag for their hop spider bag. I looking at buying some 400 micron 7"x32" nylon bags to use for a hopspider on a keg but just curious if anyone else is using these. A little more than $5 a bag if you buy 5 at a time. Based on my nylon hop bag usage I think 5 bags will last me a long time

Include a link for future reference if the ebay link is gone in the future (same seller on ebay, quite a big cheaper there actually)

I haven't used those bags, but I've used paint strainer bags. They work great and are reusable. You can pick them up for about ~50 cents at any hardware store.

Sent from my VS980 4G using Home Brew mobile app

+1 on the paint strainer bags. Super cheap and just one will last for quite a number of uses. I literally just paperclip it to the side of my brew kettle.
