Nice set up! And some great ideas, I’m in the process of setting up a garage brewery too.

Have you had a chance to brew in it yet?

Very nice setup! Used to have a local nanobrewery that had the 1 bbl version which it looks like yours is. They said they never could get a full 1 bbl out of the system. I guess I should have asked why, so I don't know if it was a hot side or cold side shortage. Seems like they could have added top up water to reach the 1 bbl mark. Seeing you have a decent amount of half barrels sitting around I'm guessing you don't want partial fills. Any reason your not using that white drinking water hose to feed your water filter instead of that green not drinking water hose?

What? No Snooker table?

Excellent garage brewery set up! No doubt you can host the biggest block party in town!!

I've got the snooker angle covered. A full-size (12-ft x 6-ft with 2-1/4 in. slate) Burroughes & Watts from 1907. It's in my Dark Corner Brewpub and Snooker Club, which SWMBO amazingly allowed me to build in the basement. Now I just need a larger brewery for the garage...!!
(Sorry, didn't mean to divert from this great brewery, but you mentioned snooker table...)

Well...the Bel Air Brewery is in a separate two car garage, no cars there now. Not as pretty as the above.

But the taproom, "Aviator's Lounge", is a great place for a pint and a burger...or a Pancho Plate!

The Mustang on the menu screen is mine. That is why we chose an aviation theme for the Bel Air Brewing tap handles, and our logo. The entire bar / lounge is in an aircraft theme, with lot's of pictures and scale models of the planes that I flew during my career.

We wanted it to have an ambience similar to an old English Pub.

Way awesome bar setup, my man! Quite envious of all the entries in your "Log Book." Judging from the livery on all the airliners (including a TWA Connie, which was my first flight airplane) you must have been a well traveled airman, as well as a connoisseur of Corvettes. Do you do the air show circuit in the Mustang?

The Mustang is still in Ohio, awaiting some maintenance fixes. Should have it back in Texas next month. Yes, planning to do some air shows with it.

And yes...I'm a Corvette fan! The wait list for a new mid-engine C8 Corvette is 12 to 18 months!

Flew for 3 major airlines, spanning over 32 years. Braniff, Continental, and United. Finished up on the B-777. I actually flew DC-3's for a broken down company called Coker Air Freight. It was an experience.

We wanted the bar / lounge / game room to reflect an aviation theme. And look like an old world English Pub at the same time.

Taplist is the coolest thing! You can turn your TV into a menu, showing the beers you have.

You have a sharp eye, to pick up on the Connie and the Corvettes! I flew most of the models that are on top of the bar, MD-80, B-757, B-777, DC-3.

Thank you very much for the kind words.

Several times - the 1bbl setup is new. But I’ve brewed in the garage a lot over the last year. It’s just about perfect.

@Beerwildered great setup man! Curious as Im in NC as well - how well do the fermenter/glycol setup handle the NC summers in the garage? No issues with cold crashing? I personally use fermonsters in mini fridges in my NC garage, but those look awesome man!

You mean the blue hose connected to the filter? That’s definitely a potable water rated hose. I made sure. :)

I’ve got the Icemaster Max4 - the 8 gallon reservoir is key. I can crash everything I’ve got at the same time with that chiller.

Takes one to know (and appreciate) one! I also retired from "The Friendly Skies" off the B757/B767 fleet nearly 8 years ago. Mustangs & Corvettes. Quite a combination.

Oh, and a beautiful bar, too.

Man Beerwildered that is one fantastic garage set up. Amazing. Oleson, that is an equally impressive barroom set up you have as well. I too am an “Ex-Con” now with UA. On the Airport Operations side of things.
