I'm an Old Brewer, but new to the Forums.
I've been Brewing wine since early '70's.And, Mead and various Beers
since 1992, usually about 30 gallons of each a year.

I'm a lazy Brewer. I only make Extract Brews.
I frequently make Kit Beer, with the addition of Specialty Malts, Hops and Malt Extract.

I make Sack Mead, that I add Honey to, after the ferment has stopped.
I also make Braggot Mead, by adding 3# of Amber or Dark DME, to the ferment,
of a 5 gallon batch of Mead. The Mead is generally used as Libation, for Religious
Celebrations.
I very much enjoy sharing my Brews with my Friends.

Welcome to the Forum. I'm sure your many years of brewing will provide some great insight for some of us who haven't been brewing very long. I'm a bit north of you I think, brewing in West Lafaytte, since I got to Purdue. But I'm not very good at Indiana geography since I'm not originally from here, so we may not be as close as I thought?

Wow, you have been brewing longer than I have been living! Impressive. I am sure you have tons of good info to share.
