Hi. My name is Dave. A buddy and I tried brewing late last summer for the first time but it kinda turned out just ok. So I didn't really put any more thought about it.

So now my wife's company is putting on a home brew contest this summer and she decided she wanted to enter the contest, so.... To get ready for this we decided to try brewing something. We've got 5 gallons of caribou slobber fermenting now. It seems to be doing better than the German Alt I did last summer. I've been poking around on here and found tons of useful info. Thanks!

Here's a pic of the caribou slobber in the secondary fermentor. I think these bubble are just normal base off what I've seen on here. :)
