Hi guys,

Good to see such a social group!

I've literally just started; I'm a big IPA, bitter and golden ale fan (hoppier the better). I have a coopers Brittish Bitter in secondary fermentation (2nd week) - not expecting too much from it, and a Coopers IPA in primary (1st week).

Want to get on to making a nice pils or continental lager for the next batch, any kit recomendations? Hope to get into the grain and hops addition in time.

Cheers guys.

I have a friend here in the US from Cardiff. Gethen Jones. Man, can he drink!

Lagers are difficult as you need to keep them cold, about 10c I think. If you have a spare fridge you can control the temp on though then you are good to go. Check out the aquarium controller thread in the DIY section.
