hola, its been 15 years since i last brewed the best beer in the world, and im glad to be back. im excited, but ashamed i stopped! I got the comeback batch in the fermenter now, and i forgot how friggin awesome the smells and tastes of the cooking brew was! its weird, throught the past day i keep getting these "smell flashbacks", even at work i think im still smellin the boil :) god i love that wonderful smell!

And i was excelptionally happy when i did a websearch for the place i used to buy my ingredients, (American Brewmaster) i found out not only were they still in business, but they had a full online store on their site, and still have the same quality fresh ingredients. altho i guess the yeasts have gotten alot better now no?

peace and homebrew

I don't know if yeasts have gotten better, but there are many new varieties available.

Now, malts and specialty grains have improved. Fully converted malts are pervasive and pre-gelatenized wheats, oats & ryes have really cut mashing times and improved efficiency. Unless you're AR, cooking adjuncts is history.
