HERMS / Hot Liquor Tank set up.
- 8.75 gallon stainless steel pot
- Camco 240V Screw-In Foldback Water Heater Element - Low Watt Density wired for 110 use
- 50' copper coil
- Stainless steel compression fittings with silicon gaskets
- Aquarium pump with silicon hose to agitate water and increase even heating of water
I used with the Pro Flow Dynamics connectors and silicone hoses for recirc on the ends of the copper heat exchange coil. I placed a nut on the bottom compression fitting to hold the copper coil in place for now. A ball valve or quick disconnects would replace that nut.
I've upgraded my setup once again and am ready to pass this great item onto another homebrewer.
