So Im just trying to make a simple Dunkel extract.
I have some left over Crystal 20L and some Belgian Aromatic that I want to get rid of.
Heres my idea:
6.60 lb Wheat Liquid Extract (8.0 SRM) Extract 84.08 %
0.50 lb Aromatic Malt (26.0 SRM) Grain 6.37 %
0.50 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM) Grain 6.37 %
0.25 lb Chocolate Malt (350.0 SRM) Grain 3.18 %
0.75 oz Hallertauer [4.80 %] (60 min) Hops 12.7 IBU
1 Pkgs Hefeweizen Ale (White Labs #WLP300) Yeast-Wheat
Est Original Gravity: 1.054 SG
Estimated Alcohol by Vol: 5.25 %
Is this going to be too strong? Should I cut back on some of the LME?
I figure for cheap I can just by 2 cans of Muntons Wheat LME at 3.3lbs each.
How will the Aromatic taste with the Crystal and Chocolate?
