I plan on making 5 seperate smash recipes with 2row and 5 different hops and ferment them in 1 gal glass jugs. I am a little confused about how to do it though. Should I just mash a 5gal batch of 2row in my cooler and then split them up 5 ways before the boil and boil them all seperately? Im not sure how the evaporation rate would change and the hop utilization? Help me out. Thanks.

That's a bit of a bastard though - obviously will equal at least 5 hours of boiling plus cooling time etc.

If you're not so much interested in the bittering characteristics of the hops and don't mind cheating a bit you could do a full size batch boil for say 45 minutes with a neutral bittering hop. Then split it into 1 gal lots and just do a 15 minutes boil with additions at like 15/5/0/dry or whatever.
