Hello everyone,

I have been brewing on and off for about 4 years, but decided to commit more to the hobby this year and really go all in. I've noticed my beers have improved a lot over the last few months and am now confident sharing them with family and friends! I like BIAB and am a little daunted by the science of recipe development, so am trying to keep things simple for now as I slowly improve. Excited to learn!

You don't have to create your own recipes. There are a lot of great recipes already out there.

The first thing you should do is brew a lot and get to know different ingredients. Then take some recipes you like and tweak them towards what you want that beer to be. That's going to give you better results with less guesswork than trying to come up with new recipes out of the ether.
