Hi, im 23 and im from México.
Im very happy to be part of this community, i just made my first mead batch ever. I went with a simple strawberry mead, and i hope it turns out well.
Mead has always fascinated me, since i always watch movies, series or playing videogames, it was always there haha. Recently i found some brewing videos and got very excited.
My second batch im thinking of some type of spicy mead, does anyone has some recipe that i could use?

For spices meads be cautious and try to use a known recipe. Also, check out some books on meads. They usually have good recipes (especially Schramm’s).

Some spices are extra strong when put in mead. Years ago a made an Herb de Provence mead and apparently the mix I used had oregano. It was disgusting. I only used it to cook with.
