Hard to Clean Bottles

I left some flip top bottles cleaning in Oxy Clean. I forgot about them and they were in there a couple of weeks. Now there is a slight reside on the inside that my bottling brush can seem to get to come off.

Resoaking in Oxy Clean doesn't seem to work at loosening the reside. It's white looking, almost like some sort of calcification. Any thoughts on cleaning it out?

Did you try something acidic? When all else fails I go with vinegar.

I haven't tried that, might be worth a shot.

I've used warm vinegar before and it did the trick.

I used starsan with a similar situation as yours and it cleaned then right up. Vinegar is cheaper and I'll have to give that a go next time I have that issue.
