Growth in tubing!

I was getting ready to rack my brew into the secondary when I noticed a brown growth in side the tubing. Needless to say I did not transfer into the secondary and was wondering if any one had to deal with this problem? Should I just buy some more tubing tomorrow? Thanks for the help.

Sometimes that tubing doesn't dry well, so I can see how mold can grow. Luckily, tubing is cheap and easily replaced. I wouldn't try to clean it and use it now- you could use bleach to clean it, and rinse well, but I'd just replace it.

+! to Yooperbrew. You can clean it but at liek 23 cents a foot, why bother
