Growler Experiment help

I brewed an Oatmeal Stout that turned out great. Now I've got some oak cubes soaked in Bourbon and was thinking about filling a growler with the stout and dropping some cubes in for a little experiment.

Question: How many cubes and how long for a 1/2 gallon growler?

Anyone do this or have any advise?

I would take the amount that you would use in a 5 gallon batch and divide that by 10.

I have been wanting to experiment in a few extra growlers & jugs but I have not figured out a good way to prime when I bottle.

How are you going to do it?
