If put in a airtight bag, most say it's best to use in a few weeks at most. I've never tested this but have used milled grains after just about 2 weeks with no problems at all. I would think you could likely go for a month without a problem but as I've said, I have no firsthand knowledge of this.
Either way, keep them as airtight as possible and above all, keep them dry.
 
While best to use right away, baking flour at the supermarket is basicly milled wheat grain, I think that has a best used by date like within a year...just sayin. RDWHAHB
