Hello too all,
I've been enjoying home brew for a time my brother got me hooked!
So I'm brewing my first bach of a porter type beer been in the fermenter for 4 days and all is well smells great so far.I did the malt extract two 3.5 cans of light malt 4 oz chocolate malt 3oz black malt boiled for 60min. the last 15 minutes I added 8.5AAU whole hops with no finishing hops the O. G. was 1.0046 I piched it with british ale yeast.Should be a good bach I hope.
