I'm on my 2nd 5 gallon batch, I'm brewing a Bohemian Pilsner this weekend. My question is, I have a 1 1/2lb of grains (doing a extract) how much water should i use to steep these in? I will be doing a full boil.
Thanks

Don't worry too much about it. For AG mashing the ratio varies from about 1 qt/lb to 2 qts/lb, but for extracts/specialty grains it doesn't make too much of a difference unless you use such a small amount that you saturate the solution with sugars.
