Anyone use a grain mill for a apple press , is there any reason why this would not be a good idea.?......
asking for a friend .

I have never used a grain mill to grind apples. I’ve actually never used a grain mill for anything but based on pictures and video I have seen I will venture that it would not work well. That’s just my guess. I made my own grinder from scrap parts that works well for me.

The apples would probably have to be the consistency of thin apple sauce to go through the rollers. The rollers are for grabbing small pieces of grain to produce a crush. Corrugations or knobs aren't large enough to grab pieces of apples.
