There are a bunch of mechanically inclined, technical, engineer type folks on this board. I know some of you must have an appreciation for fine, functional, or otherwise interesting time pieces. I absolutely love automatic watches but I can't really afford or justify some of the finer offerings so I have to settle for something a bit more inexpensive.

Show us your fine, interesting, or precious watches.

I have been wanting to pick up a cheap everyday military style automatic. I could not pass on the deal they had a while back on Chronoshark on this Seiko 5.

It is a about the right size for me. I have not found larger watches to be comfortable for everyday wear. I do think the band looks just a touch narrow for the case size. I will probably get used to it though and will more than likely replace it after I get some wear on it.

Great thread.

I feel like watches are part of your soul. I have a lot of watches, but some mean more than others. (L-R) (1) Seiko Chrono Sports 100 (the first watch my pop gave me). - (2) Bulova Accutron Astronaut (my pop bought it brand new in 1969) - (3) Tag Heuer Formula 1 (my first real every day watch 20+ years ago) - (4) Omega Speedmaster (it's keeps the most accurate time I've ever seen in a timepiece and it's a pain the in the a$s to wind every day...but I love it)
