well i did my first AG yesterday and i must say its easier than i thought, getting my strike temp wasent hard at all 170 to get my mash to 155... didnt lose but one degree over an hour and my sparge temp was right at 180, and after everything was said and done my OG was at 1.060 which the recipe calls for 1.044- 1.050 so im guessing it was just dumb luck to get that high of efficiency for my first brew, now all im doing is waiting for fermentation to kick off.

What was the temp of your sample ? If it was warmer than 70 ish then you will need to convert your numbers. There is a chart on hexer somewhere I am sure someone will find the link for you. Congrats on the first go with all grain.
