Hey all, new brewer here.
So far I've only brewed a couple IPA's and a Blonde Ale for easy drinking. I was thinking of getting a coffee porter/stout going now that I have a good supply of homebrew around, I won't mind aging a beer for a while before I drink it. Im not very well versed in this style of beer, the one micro brew in my city has one called Stir Stick Stout, which they recently retired. I do like the Coffee Porter that mill street brewery puts out, so I was hoping to try my hand at a beer with a nice coffee flavor. I don't quite know the difference between a porter and a stout, everyone seems to have a different idea about the differences between the two. I was just wondering if anyone had a good extract recipe for a tasty coffee themed porter/stout.
Thanks!
