Going to harvest from **** tonight...

Anyway going to try and harvest some little buggers from "Oro de Calabaza" Artisan Golden Ale from Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales tonight.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried harvesting this specific yeast and if so what results they had.

you'll get great results from harvesting the dregs of JP beers. i haven't tried this particular one but i think i've read of people having excellent results. JP and Fantome are my go to dregs to add a lil extra flavor to my experiments. here's a few quick hits from the search function:

So this is my first attempt at harvesting from a bottle.

I followed a quantity schedule I found here for the fist batch of starter wort.

My question is, how long should it be before I see some signs of the harvested yeast waking up and dining?

I have been aerating it a couple times a day. I harvested it on Monday night.

I've always had activity within a few days, I start stepping up after the first week.
