I have to say this short clip gave me some serious chills!

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwqAUu-BawI]YouTube - Ghost in Pantry[/ame]

The video doesn't even work anymore.... Say it ain't so cheesy say it ain't so

Folks,there are more things in this world than are drempt of in the minds of men. & you can measure these with the right equipment. check out my story in the other ghost thread for some REAL CHIT!

The thought that always makes me sadly shake my head and say humbug is this: In a world, where there were ABSOLUTELY no spirits, no left behind energy, no poltergeists, etc. would there still be stories of ghosts that came from frighteningly convincing coincidences and old creaky houses, not to mention the occasional out and out liar?

YES.

:(

That is very typical of a dust orb.

Seeing a face in it is the phenomenon known as "matrixing"... like being able to see a face in the moon. Of course, before TAPS came along and ruined paranormal investigation, we called it "pareidolia".

I greatly dislike photos, and stopped taking pictures during investigations probably a decade ago...

I also found another copy of the "Ghost in the Pantry" video.

The door was not closed shut.. if you view the vid frame by frame, when it starts to open, you can see the deadlatch. Even with the excessively poor quality, you can see the knob doesn't turn.

The other problem I have with the video is the fact there there is no timestamp on it... and the entire door cannot be seen.

My bet is the old "string taped to the bottom of the door" trick.

Then how bout this? Not lense flare either,as that has a layered,multi image sort of quality. This is a rather large spirit orb I didn't know was there till I looked at it after posting it a couple weeks ago;

If you look at it closely when blown up to screen size,you can almost see a face in it.

Ummm like it would be hanging out by the BUDWEISER and leinenkugels!! :drunk: If your homebrew can't impress the dead, you oughta give in.

If it were a dirty lens speck or dust orb,I'd have seen it without taking a pic. I didn't. Here's the pic taken immidietly before the one that shows it;

*I just took a closer look at this one. Floating faintly above & between the pail & Bud box. almost looks like I caught it in motion?...
As for it's choice,I guess there's no accounting for taste.
** I just searched your dust orbs,& I must say,I never new a camera could do that with particulate matter in the air. but sometimes,the "orb" is moving quickly,kinda like UFO's you see in videos. Not like gently floating dust particles. And this time only one?! Idk,maybe,maybe not...I wish I could transfer the VHS one to DVD. That one moved with intelligence of it's own. The morning after our encounter too.

I spy a second Ghost Orb in the corner above the box of Bud... This one is just a bit fainter and smaller. Maybe it's a young ghost? I mean the ghost of a young person?

Huh. Missed that one,down between the gap in the boxes. By the way,those are my clean empties that they're floating around. The boxes in the lower right of the frame are boxes of filled bottles. It is interesting that sometimes upstairs when I couldn't sleep,I'd see these orbs flittin around the room. They had an errie milky greenish glow. One time,one of them floated closer to me when it saw me visually following it. There was this orange geometric shape in the middle,outlined in like a burnt sienna. Can't explain that with a lens or flash!...
