gasket material

I'm looking for a material I can use as a gasket in my mash tun. Its circular and I have a SS screen that fits but I want to put a gasket around it for better seal. Any options are appreciated.

you can probably get some silicone edging that would do the job.

Could you slit some small diameter silicone hose lengthwise and use that?

I use the red silicone baking mats for small gaskets. You can see from the photo that I've made quite a few. Maybe you could cut out a larger one.
