I know that full boils are better so since i only have a 5gal pot could i just add water as it evaporates to keep it as close to 5 gal as possible or am i just better off adding the few gals to my fermentor. And how long do hops stay fresh once the vaccume bag had been opened or am i better off throwing them away.
