Hello, friends!
Here I'm again.
I'm a newbie in the yeast banking. Besides yeast slurry and dry kveik, I have no experience with another forms to mantain a yeast bank.
For reasons of storage space and time, I've chosed use a frozen stock.
I'm following the instructions from this post: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/maintaining-healthy-yeast-bank-long-term.html
My question is: it should look like that, with crystals?
I've made these tubes for test, today I'll make a starter and try to use, but I'm worried if the viability has been affected by the crystals formation.
Thanks!
