I have harvested yeast and filled test tubes with 50% yeast 25% water and 25% glycercine. I want to freeze, but in the fridge I am getting 3 distinct layers. Even after I shake it, it separates pretty quickly. Has enough glycercine been absorbed into the yeast to go ahead and freeze even with these layers?

Thanks in advance.

Sitting overnight should be long enough to absorb.
You can pour off the excess water if you like or just put in the freezer, up to you.
