First year hop question

I planted some hops a few weeks ago and the cascade came up last week and were 5in as of yesterday. Unfortunately my wife thought it was a weed and pull the stem off. The rest of the rhizome is still in the ground. Will I get another shoot off of this rhizome or do I need to plant a new one?

Lol thats why i dont let swmbo do any weeding. should not be a problem give it some time should see more shoots coming up soon.

Good to hear. Hopefully it can push through another shoot soon. She told me that she thought it was pot growing in our strawberry patch.

Hah, that's too bad. One of my shoots broke off because of a damn squirrel and the rhizome sent up another bine. Don't worry, it'll be fine.
