Hello Brewing Gods!
So I'm doing my first 'first wort hop' and was wondering how this calculates into my boil. I'm doing a hopslam clone, which calls for a 90minute boil. So once my mash is complete, do I put my 'first wort hop' hops into the kettle and slowly siphon my wort on top of it? I'm confused when I start the boil timer?.....at the hot break? Put the burner on immediately when wort goes on top of the hops? I realize this is a stupid question, so I apologize for wasting your time .
