Im doing my second beer (strawberry cream ale) and plan to add the frozen strawberries to the secondary. How much flavor would i get from 5 pounds? Looking for a noticeable strawberry zing/aroma to it. Should rack on them while they are still frozen or thaw them or cut them up at all? Also will 5 pounds of strawberries fit with my cream ale in the 5 gallon carboy?
