Last night I met with some friends and took over the last bottle of my initial California Pale Ale (Mr. Beer kit) and three bottles of my Java Stout (grain kit).

The Stout is still very young and really needs more time in the bottle (only 6 days so far). But the concensus was all thumbs up! A nice hint of coffee flavor and bitters. A pretty good head. And a very very smooth stout!

It is so cool when this stuff turns out !!!

Just had to share.

Lol Beegee! Congrats on your beer man, I'm 1/2 way thru my first batch as well. I'm doing a second fermentation, and everything is looking cool. I can see what the book is talking about now, "relax don't worry, have a homebrew"! Never had so much fun!
