Today I made my first Light American Lager. It is going to be triple hopped. Hopefully it turns out great. It is a little lighter in color than I would expect a light lager would be. Kinda expected it to look like Miller Lite but its almost clear in color. Only 3.1SRM (which is the top of the standard that BeerSmith 2 recommended). Here is the recipe that I used. I know I should have used less corn and more 2-row but I think it will turn out fine. I'll let you know how it tastes. If you have any suggestions please let me know(i.e. I am using too much hops for my dry hop).

5 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 62.5 %
3 lbs Maize, Flaked (Thomas Fawcett) (2.0 SRM) Grain 2 37.5 %
0.37 oz Cascade [6.40 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 3 9.3 IBUs
1.00 oz Mt. Hood [4.90 %] - Boil 2.0 min Hop 4 1.6 IBUs
1.0 pkg American Lager Yeast (White Labs #WLP840) [35.49 ml] Yeast 5 -
0.50 oz Cascade [6.40 %] - Dry Hop 5.0 Days Hop 6 0.0 IBUs

Note: The reason it is .37 oz is because my digital scale only measures in 1/8 ounces and 3/8 ounce equals .37. I wish it measured in grams/ounces/pounds but I make due with what I have.
