Ust started my first all grain 10 min ago. Hopefully all goes well
Thanks for the advice. I just got home from the local brewing supplu store. He set me up with a pale ale.

Sg 1.052
10lbs two row
1lb car 60l

Heat to 160
Mash 154 1 hr
Mash out 168
Sparge 170
1 oz magnum 60min
1 oz cascade 15 min
1 oz each 1 min



Hope this sounds right
 
Welcome to the beginning. . . . :)

Are you heating in a kettle for mashing, or using a cooler as a mash tun? Just wondering how you're getting and holding your temps.
 
I have a single tier brewing system. With 3 converted kegs. Went great, i need to invest in 2 more burners. One worked but ended up being more of a pain than anything.
