I brewed my first AG last night ... went pretty well. A little disorganized, but I will work on that.
The brew was supposed to be a SA Cream Stout clone I found, but I used a different yeast, and some different hops ... so basically it's a stout.
I was aiming for a 5.5 gallon batch, but came up with 5.25 .... not too bad. I was also aiming for a OG of 1.054 at 5.5 gallons, assuming 65% efficiency ... but ended up with 1.064 at the 5.25 gallons. I didn't have enough room for all of my runnings, but I took the gravity of the last little bit, and the gravity was 1.032 .... should kept sparging for another batch I guess.
But here is my question ..... could someone help me calculate my efficiency??
Here is the recipe:
Like I said, I missed the Batch size, ended up with 5.25 gallons, and the OG was 1.64.
