Threw this together in about 45 minutes very simple to wire and adjust.
Got a motor off ebay ~$40 ge 177 rpm
Lovejoy connections L070 1/2" for the motor and 3/8" for the Barley Crusher. (Amazon)
20 mfd capacitor (match the motors capacitance) ~$10 (Amazon)
Dpst switch and a 4" x 6" project box from radio shack
Had 4 wires off motor (green, blue, black, white)
Green = ground -> green on power cord
White = nuetral -> white on power cord
Black and blue are directional so black from power cord goes to center of switch (marked 2)
1 and 3 will go to different sides of the capacitor and blue and black will also be attached to opposite sides of the capacitor.
When the switch moves up the motor will turn clockwise or counterclockwise and will turn the opposite way when the switch is down.
