fermenting in festa brew bag

has anyone ever tried fermenting directly in one of those festa brew bags? my lhbs sells empty ones i think. reason im thinking bout this is im about to be assigned to an away city for a while and would like to bring some of those canned kits and need to reduce the volume of luggage. two or 3 of these bags would do that then i'd just use a box i find once im there to support the bag and a normal stopper and blow off tube.

does anyone see any serious problems with this? i cant imagine that no ones ever tried it
